After earning degrees in GSCOM and Chinese Studies from the University of South Carolina in 2016, Clay began his career in a strategic role for a global electronics manufacturer in Michigan. His work eventually took him to Taiwan, where he gained valuable international experience and became proficient in Mandarin, a skill that has proven invaluable in his personal and professional life. Upon returning to South Carolina in 2021, Clay discovered the charm and beauty of Beaufort County and immediately fell in love with the area. Together with his wife Gabby, they made the decision to move to Beaufort and call it their home.
