WHO WE ARE
In 2017, Bay Street Realty Group expanded by acquiring Island Realty, where partner Todd McDaniel served as a managing partner and was one of the founding owners. This pivotal merger laid the foundation for future growth. By 2018, Bay Street Realty Group joined forces with global real estate leader Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
That same year, we opened an office on Bay Street in downtown Beaufort, SC, complementing our well-established Sea Islands office. This strategic expansion allowed us to better serve clients across Beaufort’s diverse communities and the surrounding Lowcountry.
Under the leadership of Partner Will Thurman as Managing Broker for Georgia, the company continued to thrive. Between 2019 and 2020, we acquired Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Southeast Coastal Properties, a successful Savannah-based firm, and Cora Bett Thomas Realty’s South Carolina and Georgia offices.
